Arrive at Shimla, from where a representative will help you with the smooth transfers to Chitkul. Start off this adventurous expedition to Spiti after a short briefing about the tour, post breakfast. Hit the roads and begin your transfer from Shimla to Chitkul. Pass through the popular towns of Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr to enter the spectacular Kinnaur valley. Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa river. If time permits, do take an hour’s climb above the village to visit the stunning turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake to enjoy stunning views of the valley. You will then start your journey further leaving behind Spiti Valley and at Powari take a right towards ReoKong Peo, which is the main town of Kinnaur district from where you will proceed to Kalpa.
